2009 AGM The 2009 AGM was held on 29th August 2009 in Melbourne: The AGM was successfully held with a new Council elected and a new Federal President. Daniel Kulawiec was nominated for this role after Dr Damian Kennedy advised he would not be seeking re-election.
The new Federal President's report was published in the New Engineer edition October 2009 and is repeated here.
The IIE remains interested in any member who would like to nominate for either a local Division role, or Directorship. For any queries please contact the Secretary.
50th Anniversary The Institute of Industrial Engineers celebrated it's 50th Anniversary year in 2008. In 1958 the Australian Methods Engineering Society was incorporated to become IIE Australia. Activities to mark this occasion included a celebratory dinner on the evening preceeding the AGM, and the publication of a special 50th Anniversary edition of the New Engineers journal.
Ideas on future opportunities for your Institute are always welcome. Please contact your local division, or any of the current Directors, to share your thoughts.
Site Information Members and councillors should submit information to the site. The general member and non-member areas are also available for this purpose. Other material may be emailed to the Federal Wedmaster. |
